Samuel Rueda (he/him)
IHC Professional Staff Advisor
I was a First Gen/Low Income student originally from the San Gabriel Valley. I attended Cal Poly, earning both my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and my Master's Degree in Higher Educational Counseling & Student Affairs. After working three years at Vassar College in their Office of Residential Life as a House Advisor, I returned to University Housing as part of the Residential Student Experience team. I have a passion for connecting with students and supporting their journey in higher education and connecting with communities to make their SLOme away from home that much more enjoyable! I look forward to seeing folks at our programs and advocating for their Neighborhoods on their Inter Housing Councils!
